UK CONFERENCE 2010 IN TAMIL

The last several years has seen an ever increasing awareness of Islam. The Muslim Ummah as a whole, and the Tamil speaking Muslims in UK specifically, have yearned for Islam and aspire to live by it.

Despite the concerted effort of the western world to demonize Islam and the Muslims, to distort and confuse its teachings, and to distance the Muslims living in UK with our brothers and sisters in the Muslim world, the Muslims have not only resisted their efforts but have actually come closer to Islam. The Muslims have given up on false ideas of democracy and secularism, nationalism and multiculturalism and now stand at the cross roads of the future. The Muslims are looking into the direction of the Khilafah - the direction of Islam - and despite the seemingly endless obstacles been put in front of the Ummah's path, we have not turned back.

Thus, it is upon this background of revival being felt all over the world and in UK, we look forward to holding such an important event that will give the Muslims the opportunity to disseminate, clarify and debate openly the issues surrounding our problems and solution - namely, Islam via its implementation through the Islamic State.
